The Reserve at Riverdale

Mixed-Use

Architectural Description

Alexan Riverdale consists of two buildings, each having four stories of residential units over top of one level of parking. The combined total for both building is 424 residential units. The project also contains a two-story, 5,000sf clubhouse.

Structural Description

While the layout of each building is different, the construction is similar for both. The floor and roof systems consist of pre-engineered trusses supported by 2x wood walls. Both buildings have unique features that separate them from typical construction: 1) their foundation systems are comprised of strap beams and large foundation retaining walls, and 2) they have asphalt slabs on grade. The remaining construction includes wood-framed units over cast in place transfer (CIP) slabs supported by cast in place concrete spread footings and columns. A portion of the north, at-grade parking extends over a flood prone area with a CIP bridge on spread footings.
