Structural BIM / Revit Drafter

Description

The Structural BIM/Revit Drafter conducts research and applies findings to drafting on Cates Engineering’s projects, performing drafting operations to produce content for both our intranet and project drawings as required. The Structural BIM/Revit Drafter must be a communicator in order to successfully interface with clients, engineers and project managers. This position will participate in training as required by management, and coordinate communications flow from the client and/or the project team to management.

Qualifications

High School or Trade School Diploma (2-year degree in drafting/design preferred)
Proficient in REVIT Structure
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to read, produce and coordinate construction drawings, sections and details
Possess a general working knowledge of building systems; field experience a plus
Self-motivated, detail oriented
