1410 Grand Adams

Mixed-Use, Mid-High Rise

Architectural Description

This unique, six story, LEED Platinum project includes 44 dwelling units in two towers on the upper five floors. In addition to the units, the mezzanine level and ground floor also include retail and amenity space, a children's theater and playroom, bicycle storage, and automated parking. The building also includes a harvest rain system and solar panels.

Structural Description

The west apartment tower was designed using a cold formed steel wall and floor system. The east condominium tower was designed with a flat plate concrete system. Both towers sit on a concrete podium over a level of concrete flat plate construction supported on a combination of concrete and masonry bearing walls. The Klaus System was used for the automated parking design. The project required a deep, steel pile foundation.
